OCALA, Fla., May 04, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Vision Works Media Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:VWKM) announces that wholly owned subsidiary New Screen Television, Inc. is now focusing on affiliate negotiations that will allow the company to launch in additional states in 2006, to generate $8.4 million monthly and a 15 percent stock dividend to shareholders of record on June 1, 2006.
"We are excited to be progressing solidly now to be able to expand the channel's distribution into Pennsylvania, New York, California, Ohio, Georgia, Louisiana and Oregon this year," said Mark Astrom, New Screen TV's President. The distribution in each new market is projected to be worth $1.2 million in monthly revenues, per market, from subscriber fees alone.
Shareholders of record on June 1, 2006 will be issued 1.5 million shares of VWKM stock for each 10 Million shares that are owned on June 1, 2006. Company policy is no reverse stock splits. This action is being done to reward shareholders for their loyal following of the company.
The company is already launching with existing affiliates in Texas, Florida, Montana, Minnesota, Iowa and Arizona. The stated goal is to be available nationwide throughout the lower 48 states in 2007.
New Screen TV is now available to any and all satellite, cable and fiber-to-the-home system operators in the U.S. New affiliates will join Optical Entertainment Network, Auroras TV, and Eagle Broadband as a part of New Screen TV's growing roster of affiliates.
